These days there are plenty of different shops on Koh Samui but often if items are imported (ie. sun lotion; toiletries, decent footwear...etc) these can be very pricey. Sizes in Thailand tend to fit a smaller build and it is not always easy to find clothes/ swimwear/ sportswear that fit unless you have a small build!! Footwear/trainers etc... is not often good quality but fairly cheap. Equally western food is available however in British pounds translates to 2 times or 3 times the price in the UK for the same thing. So bring with you items which you may feel you will miss.!!
